THE ELECT ARE CHOSEN

Dearly beloved of our Lord Jesus Christ, please note that: By the foresight of GOD in Jesus Christ, and in times past, through His prophets and His Son Jesus Christ, GOD our Father, revealed and made it known unto us that: We were the chosen and the elect from the last generation! From before the foundation of this earth was laid, who must brave and persevere without fear, the terrible suffering of the great tribulation period of three and a half years!

Now for this reason alone; it must be seen by us who are chosen to be the “elect,” to be the greatest privilege ever to have befallen mankind!

We will not be alone though, for the Holy Spirit, will reside in those of us who are His chosen ones, to enable us to persevere unto death and so shame the Jews and the evil one (Satan), who had forsaken this great love of GOD!

When John says there is a great multitude without number who will come from out of the great tribulation (whether we would like to know it or not, you must believe it!). (Rev.7: 9 -17)

If Jesus was not spared by GOD His Father to suffer the blasphemy of the Jews, or the shame of the cross of Golgotha for our redemption (Rom. 8: 32) and neither throughout the ages was spared His Apostles and His disciples and the myriad of His Christian martyrs, who died in their blood, to bring the Gospel of Truth to us!

May it be that the Holy Spirit will find us worthy to suffer for our faith and love for Jesus Christ during the forthcoming Great tribulation!

Hence; for those of us who overcome and persevere to the end, there will be a greater resurrection! (Even a thousand years before the great White throne judgment)!

We must clearly understand who are the elect of our Lord and Saviour, for the elect will not be judged by their works.

Paul revealed. “…The remnant will be saved.” (Rom. 9: 27)

“Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works….”   (Rom. 11: 5 - 6)

Peter revealed. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM, who called you out of the darkness into HIS marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”   (1 Pet. 2: 9 - 10)

They are to be the remnant of the last generation, in other words, the present generation, who must pass through the “great tribulation.” They, the elect, will be persecuted to death, because they persevered in their faith, to love and serve their Lord Jesus Christ and Saviour.

John revealed. “And they overcame him (Satan and their fear of death) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Rev. 12: 11)

Not by their works, but by the will of GOD are they chosen! For this reason alone, do they qualify to be the elect, who participate in the first resurrection!

Therefore, with the coming of our Lord on the clouds of heaven, His angels will gather together, His elect. (Matt. 24: 30-31)

Thus the saying by our Lord Jesus: “So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 20: 16)
